Classes begin with gentle movements to open the spine, hips and shoulders, preparing the body to move into yoga postures. Principles of alignment promote healthy range of motion to muscles and joints. Students are gently guided into movements and postures with respect to individual need. An emphasis on breath anchors the mind and calms the emotions. Each class concludes with relaxation to promote deep rest to body and mind.
