About OUR FOUNDER
Thérèse Jacobs-Stewart
"Modern scientific inquiry reveals how habitual ways of thinking and feeling create neural pathways in the brain. Over time, these paths become so deeply entrenched that our responses to stress become almost automatic: anxiety, fear even depression. Our nervous systems simply aren't designed to handle such relentless stress and uncertainty."
This breakthrough research, Thérèse says, suggests that ancient meditative arts such as mindfulness and visualiza-tion offer some of the most effective tools to effect change.
